Just make sure the ZIPs and RARs are the files that are supposed to go in the mods folder, otherwise you'll have to get in there and delete them. The only problems I have are the same bugs that everyone else is also experiencing, I can alt-tab if I'm in borderless windowed mode, and the game plays identically to that on Windows. I have been able to play my favorite games, including FS19, without any vestige of problematic performance.
